Osel began writing poetry seriously in 2005. He has since been published widely and has published three chapbooks of poetry, A SonofaBitch (2007, 2009), the critically acclaimed The Meter is Running & We're Almost Out of Change (2008), and 2009's Dispatches From the Third World, all available from Proletariat Press. Osel is currently at work on a full-length manuscript called Nevertheless, However, Furthermore, and Whatever.
